Dr. C A Schlecht is a seasoned patent attorney and intellectual property consultant with over 15 years of experience specializing in patent law and IP strategy. Holding a PhD in chemistry from Washington University in Saint Louis and a JD from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, Dr. Schlecht uses his strong scientific and legal background to assist clients in the life sciences, chemical, pharmaceutical, and mechanical engineering sectors, including IP licensing and patent life cycle management for Orange Book listing strategy for AGAMREE®, COBENFY(TM), and KEVEYIS®.

Currently serving as an attorney at Midtown Intellectual Property, PC, he provides expert patent preparation, prosecution, portfolio management, and due diligence services. Additionally, Dr. Schlecht serves as the Chief Legal Officer for Allumin8, Inc., a clinical-stage orthopedic screw company, General Counsel for PEKE Systems, and is a co-director at the Institute for Materials, Energetics and Complexity, a non-profit dedicated to advancing material science and laser-assisted propulsion technologies.
